Today, this Afrocentric knowledge is being passed on by women of great inspiration to all those who want to learn, reinvent themselves, and reconnect with their own essence.

We are fortunate and proud to stand by these women, being part of, learning from, and amplifying their movements, their struggles, their strengths! 

In honor of International Women's Day, get to know some of the incredible partners who share experiences here at Diaspora.Black! If you want to learn more about their ideas and strengthen their work, participate in the activities! 

Mari Luz
Psychologist, speaker, and social entrepreneur, provides consultations on racial and gender diversity, and has already written 2 e-books on the anti-racist struggle. She is the founder of the anti-racist movement #oqeupossofazer and director of support at the organization fighting sexual violence Me too Brasil. She also conducts mental health and well-being workshops, with open registrations on the website! 

Nilzete dos Santos 
Mother, guide, and businesswoman, founder of the pioneering agency in tourism that values black culture in Salvador and the Recôncavo Baiano. Since 2007, she has developed the Orixás Paths circuit, presenting landmarks of Afro-Brazilian memory in the cities, including visits to traditional houses of African-derived religions. Aza Njeri
From Rio de Janeiro, mother of two, PhD in African Literatures, postdoc in African Philosophy, she is a professor at PUC-RJ. Writer, columnist, and theater and literary critic, she is also the creator of the Aza Njeri channel, with content and reflections on African culture and the diaspora. In her courses and content, she challenges participants to 'light up the sun' of their existence by valuing Afro-Brazilian traditions.

Debora Pinheiro
From São Paulo, she is the guide responsible for retelling and valuing the memory of other black women in São Paulo, with the Black Heroines Walk! The next one is on the 13th, sign up here! She also leads other tours to showcase the best of the city, such as the Coffee in São Paulo tour, and the classic Black São Paulo Walk.
